That’s called “projection”. (Right or wrong? I never suggested those came into this.) Putting aside the implicit condescension in your effectively saying “I’m more advanced than you” (you have no knowledge of what I know or have experienced in any way whatsoever), it still remains that what he’s saying is is all form and no substance. It’s just gibberish. I personally value people who look for the affirming in life, but that doesn’t mean believing just anything at all.

Oh, I can think of a few other things it means: like how, no matter how good your heart is, or how much you want to understand, not everyone who sets himself up as a teacher has a message of value, and not everything you’re told is worth investing in.

Listen to this speech. He hits all the active buzzwords about “ancients” and “wisdom” and “heart” and “intention”, he strokes all the soft-and-warm-and-fuzzies, and strings them together so that they sound cogent and logically connected … and yet what he’s saying makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
He’s talented, I’ll give him that. It’s just a pity his talents are in concocting and selling this guff, and not in what people are hoping to get when they buy into it.

Also, it is really easy to be skeptical of this guy considering he has now background training in psychology, hypnosis, or even meditation. He was a geologist. It is just like that guy who wrote about emotional freedom techniques, he was an engineer and that in part makes what people like this are saying. At best what you are looking at with something like this is the placebo effect, which has produced profound effects over the years and something more research should be done on.
Our beliefs do have a profound impact on us. Hypnosis and meditation have been shown to do wonderful things in healing the body. Hypnosis and meditation are both have scientific literature to support the claim they help. More with meditation for sure. This guy is, from what I can tell, just another person who read some quantum mechanics and saw how he could reinterpret it for his own gains. An offspring of the what the bleep garbage, which was a disingenuous movie from the very onset

it has been proven that by mere thought ( consciousness ) we make a change. The effect however is “pooled” in a field and it alters reality in the subatomic scale. If you want a faster result, yeah you got it positive actions. The relevance of this theory is on the global scale, that if each of us will have positive intentions, it may affect not only the subatomic but our physical scale of reality.
By the way, science doesn’t need proof, explicitly, but unfalsifiable hypothesis, if your only looking for supporting proof its easy to find
